The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell has announced the rescheduling of the MHT CET 2024 exam for the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) group. The original date of the entrance exam was May 5th, 2024, which clashed with the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2024.
"To ensure all students have a fair opportunity to appear for both entrance exams, the MHT CET 2024 PCM group exam has been postponed," the official notification from the CET Cell stated. The revised dates for the MHT CET 2024 PCM Group exam will be announced soon.
This rescheduling comes after an earlier adjustment to the MHT CET 2024 schedule. Initially, both PCM and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) exams were planned from April 16th to April 30th. To avoid conflicting with the Lok Sabha general elections, these dates were revised. The PCB exam is now scheduled for April 22nd to 30th, while the PCM group exam dates awaited confirmation.
The MHT CET 2024 is a crucial entrance exam for students seeking admission to engineering and pharmacy programs in Maharashtra. The entrance exam is conducted online and held across two sessions.
Students are advised to regularly check the official MHT CET website (https://cetcell.mahacet.org/) for updates on the revised exam dates and admit card release.
