TPCT’S TERNA ENGINEERING COLLEGE - [TEC] Overview
Established in 1991, Terna Engineering College is a private institution which is related with the University of Mumbai. In 1994, it was authorised with the aid of the All India Council for Technical Education. The institute is managed with the aid of the Terna Public Charitable Trust which comprises 11 Board of Trustees which includes a president and secretary. The institute has been accredited by the NBA. It was recognized as an ISO certified institute in 2000. Since its establishment, the institute has witnessed a rapid boom in the number of enrolments. The institute is in partnership with many organisations which provide college students with employment and internship opportunities. For developing and maintaining the partnership, the institute comprises an Industry Institute Interaction Cell. The institute majorly focuses on the management and engineering programs. It features 10 departments, which includes Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics Engineering.

Terna Engineering College Admission
For admission to the undergraduate programmes, the candidates are supposed to qualify the JEE entrance examination with true rankings. The cut-off is set by the admission authorities of the institution. A minimal of 50% aggregate is required in their 12th board examination. For admission to the postgraduate programmes, the candidates are supposed to have a bachelor's degree from a known institution. The candidates may also have to sit for a personal interview at the campus.

Terna Engineering College Scholarships
The institute gives academic, government, and PMSSS scholarships. The academic scholarships are for college students who have a excellent academic record. The college students are furnished with INR 10,000 to INR 30,000 in accordance to their aggregates. The government scholarships are for the college students who belong to the low financial background. About 40% of college students are offered with scholarships worth INR 7 crore per year by the government. The PMSSS scholarships are for college students from the origin of Jammu & Kashmir. They are provided with tuition fee waivers, grants, and a number of awards as per the awarded scholarship. The college students are supposed to apply for scholarships online. The scholarship committee at the institute decides to provide scholarships to college students as per their overall performance and financial need. The college students may additionally have to go for an interview with the committee at the campus of the institute. Then, the selected college students are provided applicable scholarships.

Placement Review: In our college placement is good as students get a high package of 10 lakhs and the average package is 3. lakh. Our college provides a fitness session for students and is very useful in placements. TCS, Accenture, IBM Wipro, Capgemini, and Infosys are among the top companies that come for placements. Computer Science has 100% placements. 50% placement from other fields. My plan is to get into TCS and achieve my goals in future.
