The University has a leading Faculty of Law offering undergraduate studies leading to the 3-year LL.B. degree, an integrated law course leading to a 5-year B.A.LL.B (Honours), B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.), B.CA.LL.B (Hons.), BBA.LLB. (Hons.) degree and a postgraduate program leading to a two-year LL.M. degrees A total of 180 students will be admitted to B.A.LL.B. Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (also known as TNDALU) presents an exceptional placement record with a placement rate of nearly 90% or more. As of 2021, students in the LLM program at the School of Excellence in Law (SOEL) received an average LPA of INR 7.10. Similarly, TNDALU UG (3-year) program recorded an average LPA of INR 6.50. According to some external websites, some top organizations like Madras High Court, Zoho, Supreme Court of India, ICICI Bank and Amazon hire TNDALU Chennai alumni.
