SHREE GAJANAN MAHARAJ SHIKSHAN PRASARAK MANDAL'S, SHARADCHANDRA PAWAR COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING Accredited by: AICTE, DTE Mumbai, Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (ISO 9001:2015, Mansararajina Community Punesarajhan Community Cert). Founded in 1989 under the charismatic leadership of Late.Shri.Vilasrao Tambe, the society operates in the rural and hilly areas of North Pune region with its vision of social change and upliftment of society. through education and science.
In the early stages of development, the Society faced many difficulties due to limited resources and lack of qualified people in the countryside. Due to the remote location of the institute, it was too difficult for the administration to attract experienced lecturers. But undeterred, Johto continued his demolition efforts, which only began to bear fruit in the later stages. Currently, the institute is recognized as one of the best in the country. It could attract quite a number of qualified and experienced lecturers from various parts of the country. We at SGMSPM work in a team spirit, with dedication, sincerity and enthusiasm to build ourselves and the entire society.

Admission criteria
- BE candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Engineering with minimum 50% marks (only candidates with 5% marks in Maharashtra state class) in above mentioned subjects together .
- Students pursuing 10+2 or Engineering degree are also eligible.
- Candidates from Maharashtra state are required to appear for MHT-CET.
- All Indian candidates must appear for MHT-CET/JEE Mains. But JEE Mains is more preferable than MHT-CET.
