About
The autonomous Rajagiri College of Social Sciences was founded in 1955 in Cochin, Kerala. The university that Gandhi attended is connected to the college. According to NIRF, the college is ranked 35th out of all Indian colleges. Numerous undergraduate, graduate, research, and diploma programmes are available. Admission to all courses is based on performance on an entrance exam and merit. The Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery entrance exam results and the applicant's academic standing will be taken into consideration for admission to the M.Sc. programme.
According to the Ministry of Human Resource Development's Swachh Bharat Mission of the Government of India, Campus Ranking 2019, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences (Autonomous) is the second-cleanest higher education institution in the nation.
Admissions 2023
Online applications for admission are accepted. The following is a list of the courses' selection criteria:
Undergraduate: Admission is determined by the candidates' final qualifying exam scores. Mail will be used to contact shortlisted candidates for a personal interview.
Post-Graduate: MCA admission is determined by the candidates' performance in the Kerala MCA Entrance Examination. Admission to MBA and MHRM programmes is based on CAT, CMAT, and KMAT scores, then a group discussion and an individual interview. Admission to the M.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., and MSW programmes is based on a college-conducted entrance exam and interview.
Research: Admission to Research programmes is contingent upon passing a written test and an interview. Candidates who are NET/ JRF qualified and UGC Teacher Fellows may apply for direct admission.

Placements
The Placement Cell, which consists of a coordinator, a placement officer, and a student representative, organises on- and off-campus recruiting drives to give students the chance to work for prestigious firms like Wipro, Infosys, HCL, IBM, HP, and Cognizant.
According to their areas of specialisation, students from various departments are placed in a variety of settings, including as rural and urban communities, government projects and programmes, schools, hospitals, NGOs, social action and advocacy groups, etc. Each year, more than 50% of students have the opportunity to complete a programme called International Exposure with universities in the United States, Australia, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Israel, Malaysia, Nepal, and the Middle East, among other places.
