R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE) located in Bangalore, Karnataka is a Private college that was established in the year 1963. R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore was established in the year 1963. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. The institute is approved by AICTE and all its departments are accredited by NBA, New Delhi. Moreover, it has been ranked 58 among Engineering Colleges in India by NIRF.
RVCE is famous for its 4-year BE course which is offered in 12 specializations. Interested applicants who belong to Karnataka are offered admission into the course based on the KCET score. However, selection of students belonging to other states depends upon COMEDK score.
Apart from BE, candidates can also take admission in M.Tech and MCA provided at PG level. Securing admission in M.Tech requires a valid score in GATE/PGCET while the institute considers the score of KMAT/PGCET exams for MCA.
The application process for KCET is likely to commence in the month of February. The application fee is INR 650/-. Those who are willing to appear in COMEDK can register now by paying an application fee of INR 1600/-. Registration for GATE starts in the month of September every year. Interested candidates can register by making a payment of INR 750/-.

Placement Review The placement statistics of our college are very good. About 90% of students get a place every year and the rest opt ​​for higher education. It is one of the top-ranked colleges. The highest salary package offered was 55 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. The average package offered in CSE was 1 LPA. Almost all types of companies visit the campus for recruitment as the college is located in Bangalore. Many startups also offer internships starting from the second year.
