Loyola College UG Admission 2023:-
Loyola College, Chennai provides various degree courses at the UG level in BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Voc, BBA, BCA and BMM under different specializations. The duration of each of the courses is three years. All the courses under the stream of Arts, Science & Commerce are offered by the college in two shifts – Shift I (Aided) & Shift II (Self-Supporting). The timing of Shift I classes is 8:15 A.M. – 1:15 P.M. and Shift II classes is 1:30 P.M – 6:30 P.M. Minimum eligibility for UG courses is pass in HSC or Plus two examination in any relevant stream from recognized board. Selection to UG courses is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination followed by interview.
In addition to various UG courses, Loyola College Chennai also offers various PG level programes to the interested candidates. MA, M.Sc and M.Voc program is offered in more than one specialization. While the rest of programs such as M.Com and MCA are offered in one specialization by the college. The duration of each of the courses is two years other than the MCA program which is of three years duration. Minimum eligibility for PG courses is candidate must pass in Bachelor’s degree in relevant specializations. Selection to all the courses is done on the basis of entrance test followed by interview conducted by the college. For MCA, TANCET score is mandatory for admission.Keypoints :-

College Review: The popularity of this college is due to its recognition among the best educational groups, also with their best awards. Loyola has been awarded Grade A accreditation by the NAAC and is one of the few colleges in the University of Madras to have it. The college was ranked fifth in Commerce in the IndiaToday Group 2021 ranking. It is also approved by UGC. You can get into the M.Com course based on admission and an interview. Placement Review: Third-year students are eligible for an internship. Companies like Amazon, Adobe and Goldman Sachs are investing. Last year the highest CTC was 21 lakhs from Adobe. 13 lakhs were received from Accenture this year. The average CTC is 3-5 lakhs per annum more than 70 per cent to get a seat.
