About Kishinchand College
The Hyderabad (Sind) National Collegiate Board oversaw the establishment of Kishinchand Chellaram College (KC College) in 1954. The government of Maharashtra has granted the college official recognition and a long-term affiliation with the HSNC University in Mumbai.Three times in a row, NAAC has reaffirmed its A graded accreditation of KC College.
KC College currently offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses in the fields of arts, commerce, and science. According to the policies of the HSNC University, Mumbai, admissions are made to all UG and PG programmes on the basis of merit. Admissions for Ph.D. programmes are based on entrance exams, which are then followed by an in-person interview conducted by the college.

Admissions in KC College
Depending on the course levels, admissions at the institution are either merit- or entrance-based. Candidate selection for programmes like BA, B.Sc., B.Com., BMM, BA JOURNALISM, and BMS is done on a first-come, first-served basis. In contrast, for programmes like the Ph.D., candidates are chosen after passing an admission exam and being interviewed. Admission to graduate programmes will also be based on merit. The application procedures are always geared toward course entrance.
Admission Procedure
- Candidates must first create a username and password and register themselves online on the University of Mumbai website.
- The registration form's fields must be filled out completely and accurately.
- One must submit the registration form after selecting Kishinchand Chellaram College as the selected institution and print out both the Submission Copy and the Student Copy.
- The KC College entrance form, which can be obtained by calling the organisation, must have the submission copy attached.
- For communication purposes, the candidate must include a working email address and phone number.
- Before paying fees, candidates from boards outside of Maharashtra must fill out a provisional eligibility form in the institute office.

Before the placement drives, the KC College has a dedicated training and placement cell that arranges mock interviews and group discussions to help the students successfully navigate the selection process.
