Dyal Singh College is a co-educational institution and part of Delhi University. It has been accredited by NAAC with Grade A and ranked 35th by NIRF 2022. Dyal Singh College offers 51 courses in Science, Humanities and Commerce Departments. The college offers UG courses to its students which include B.A (Hons), (B.Sc (Hons), B.Com, B.Com (Hons) etc.). These courses are offered in many disciplines like Physics, Geography, History, Commerce etc. The admission criteria for UG course is now based on CUET examinations of Delhi University.
Dyal Singh College has a thriving placement track with college placement prospects. This cell is also tasked to prepare students for better internship and job opportunities. Solu invites more than 110 leading companies like Genpact, Awign, Indigo, One Plus etc. to participate in the internship. The highest salary package offered in this internship program is INR 18 LPA.
Furthermore, Dyal Singh College also has scholarship facilities which can be availed by top-ranking students and those who are financially weak. Students with physical disabilities are given the luxury of not paying for the college fees except for the examination fees. The college offers scholarships such as Sh. Sultan Chand Memorial Scholarship, etc.
Admissions 2023
Dyal Singh College Admission 2022 is ongoing. The university released the 2nd round seat list for UG candidates on 2nd December. Candidates who have registered to apply for the 2nd round can check the seat result from Delhi University CSAS portal - ugadmission.uod.ac.in. Candidates can accept the common place from December 3 and December 4. Sometimes the last day to pay the entry fee for the reserved place is December 6, 2022.

Dyal Singh College admission 2022 is ongoing. Delhi University has released new guidelines for admission to all UG courses. From this year onwards, admission to all DU affiliated colleges will be based on the CUET scores and done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). The admission process will be done in three phases. In phase 1, aspirants will have to fill CSAS 2022 application form. In the second phase, students will have to select the course and college preference. The third phase will include seat allocation in multiple rounds and final admission based on a merit list.
Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2022 Admission Process:
Delhi University has introduced the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) for admission to UG courses for all its affiliated colleges. The entire process is explained below:
Phase 1: CSAS 2022 Application Form
- Aspirants are required to fill the CSAS 2022 application form on the centralized admission portal by paying a one-time non-refundable application fee.
- ECA and sports quota candidates will have to pay an additional fee.
Phase 2: Selection of Courses and College Preferences
- Second phase will start after the results of the CUET UG examination are declared.
- After the CUET UG 2022 Result declaration, eligible candidates will have to select the courses and fill the preference of desired colleges on the centralised CSAS portal.
Phase 3: Seat Allocation and Final Admission
- Merit list will be declared on the basis of CUET UG scores.
- Multiple rounds of seat allotment will be conducted.
- Candidates will have to check if they have been allotted a seat on the CSAS dashboard. If allotted, candidates must accept their seat on or before the given date for that particular round.
- Seat allocation will be based on multiple factors such as - combination of college and program chosen, position of the candidate on the merit list, category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/UR) of the candidate, and availability of seats.
- Upon acceptance of a seat, the university will check eligibility, verify documents, and confirm admission after receiving the payment of fee.
