IHM Chandigarh is currently conducting admission to the B.Sc program through NCHMCT JEE 2022 counselling. The round 3 seat allotment result for B.Sc will be declared on August 5, 2022. The list of vacant seats for B.Sc after Round 2 Seat Allotment will be released on August 9, 2022. NCHMCT JEE 2022 final round seat allotment result is scheduled to be declared on August 13, 2022.
Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Catering and Nutrition (IHM) was established in the year 1990. It is located in Chandigarh. It is among the 21 Central IHM’s setup by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. It is a renowned institute known for imparting hospitality education to students to train them for the hospitality industry.
IHM Chandigarh offers two courses which are B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration and Diploma in Food production. The basic eligibility criterion for Diploma in Food Production is to have passed 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject while the selection is done on the basis of percentage of marks in 10+2 examination. For B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with English as one of the subjects. The selection is done on the basis of 10+2 performance and NCHM JEE Score.
A large number of companies recruit students from IHM Chandigarh and the placement season this year was no different. Leading hotel brands like Taj, Oberois, Marriott etc and companies like Starbucks, Dominos visited the campus for recruitments.

IHM Chandigarh Admission 2023
Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management Catering and Nutrition was established in 1990 and is situated in Chandigarh. The college is one amongst the 21 Institute of Hotel Management or IHMs in the country and offers quality education in the field of hospitality management.
IHM, Chandigarh offers Diploma in Food Production and B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration.The institute is part of the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) which is guided by the Ministry of Tourism, Govt of India.
- Candidates who have successfully completed 10+2 with English as a compulsory subject from a recognized higher secondary board are eligible for admission to Diploma and B.Sc courses.
- Candidates must appear for NCHM Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMJEE) before applying to B.Sc course.
- Candidates for the diploma course are evaluated purely on the basis of their academic performance.
- Candidates can apply online at the NCHMCT website post which the JEE exams are conducted.
- Counselling is conducted after the publication of the JEE results on the website by NCHMCT.
- Candidates must mandatorily attend counselling conducted by the NCHMCT during which institutes are allotted strictly on the basis of merit and rank.
- Those seeking admission to the Diploma course must obtain application forms from IHM Chandigarh.
- Applications are invited through advertisements published in leading local dailies.

IHM Chandigarh Scholarship Details
Scholarship scheme from NCHMCT Noida:
Merit cum Means Basis Scholarship shall be provided to one student of 3rd Semester, 5th Semester and passed 6th Semester of three year B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration Programme, who obtained the highest percentage of aggregate marks in their semester (minimum being 60%) in the 2nd Semester, 4th Semester & 6th Semester examination respectively and the student whose parent's Gross Annual Income from all sources is below 3 Lacs.
Post Matric Scholarship SC 2022-2023:
