About
One of India's oldest law schools, the School of Law Sciences (SLS) was established in 1962 as part of the University of Kerala, offering undergraduate studies and research in law under the guidance and counsel of late Professor (Dr.). A.T. Markose, an internationally recognized legal scholar and academician. The law school joined the ranks of Cochin University in 1971, which was later reorganized and renamed Cochin University of Science and Technology in 1986 to promote undergraduate studies. and advanced research in various fields. Over the decades since its inception, the Faculty of Law has evolved into one of the best teaching and research law schools in India. SLS has made a valuable contribution to legal research over the past 5 years in full adherence to CUSAT's motto of 'Tejaswinavadhitamastu', which means that accumulated wisdom deifies us teachers as well as the taught and permeates the universe as a whole.
