Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) was started in the year 1979 with the Intention of providing quality education in the field of technology and thereby serving the society. BIT is one of the best colleges affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum located in Bangalore.
The Institute has been accredited by NBA & recognized by AICTE. It is an engineering college offering undergraduate and graduate engineering courses such as BE, MBA, M.Tech etc. Bangalore Institute of Technology Admission to all courses is done through state/ national level entrance exams such as JEE Main, GATE, KMAT, CMAT.

BIT Bangalore Admission 2023
BIT Bangalore, Admissions for B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech and MBA courses are open. Candidates need to apply on the official website of Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT Bangalore).
To apply to BIT Bangalore, candidates have to apply offline. The application form will have to be downloaded from the official website of the institute, filled out, and sent to the Registrar of Visvesvaraya Technological University. Besides, an application fee of 800 INR will also have to be paid in the form of a Demand Draft in favour of ‘Finance Officer, VTU, Belagavi’.
Bangalore Institute of Technology was started in the year 1979 and the institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
BIT Bangalore offers admission to the B.Tech course under 9 specializations and JEE/KCET qualified candidates can apply for admission to the course.
Further, the institute also offers admission to the Post Graduation courses along with the Research programmes. Admission to M.Tech is done through GATE.
However, candidates may also appear in PGCET in order to get admission in M.Tech conducted by VTU. Candidates seeking admission in MCA and MBA will have to appear in PGCET/KMAT/CMAT. Admission in the Ph.D. programme is done through VRAT.

Placement Review: If you are from CSE or ISE branches, you will get 100% placement. Almost every company visits the college like Amazon, Adobe, Accenture, Infosys, TCS etc. The average package is 6 LPA and the highest package this year is 37 LPA. you can expect at least a 3 LPA package if you are yourself are from CSE. You can apply for a job in the 3rd year and for an internship in the 2nd year. I am expecting a good package after completing the degree itself.
