The University has a separate department named as Andhra University School of Distance Education to serve the purpose of the private mode of study. Andhra University Admission 2023
Andhra University offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, and Diploma degrees. The college provides 42 Post graduation courses that include Engineering courses and MBA. Admissions to all the courses are based on the Entrance examination conducted by the University itself. Candidates must apply online on the college portal.
Eligibility Criteria
- For admission in various undergraduate courses like B.A/ B.Com/ BBA, the applicant should have passed the 10+2 exam with at least 50% of marks from a recognized board of education. The candidate then needs to pass the cutoff of an entrance examination (Ed. CET) conducted by the University itself.
- The students of reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC, the eligibility percentage in 10+2 examination is 45%.
- For admission in Engineering Ug and Pg courses like B. Tech/ M. Tech, an applicant needs to pass the AU EET exam conducted by the Andhra University.
- PG courses Like M.A, M.Com are done by the entrance exam AUCET.
- For MA/ M.Com the eligibility is at least 50% of marks in under-graduation exams in the relevant stream.
- The intake for the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) is done through the AUCET entrance examination.
Andhra University has seven affiliated colleges providing courses in every field. The Andhra University is ranked 36 for Overall by NIRF 2020, Ranked 37 for B.Tech by The Week 2020, Ranked 801 for Science by THE ranking 2020, Ranked 47 for Overall by QS 2020. The College promises around 100% placements. The salary package offered is INR 3.5 LPA to INR 10 LPA.
