Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, established in 1953, is an independent college recognized by AICTE and UGC under Krishna University. The university is known as an institution with avant-garde potential and is managed by colleagues from the Society of Jesus. The institute offers UG and PG courses in Arts, Science and Commerce. The admission is based on the performance of the candidates in the last qualifying exams and entrance exams. KRU-CET and APICET are entrance exams which are considered for PG admission in an educational institution.
The institution is ranked 94th among all other colleges in India according to NIRF Ranking 2022. Campus placement offers good packages but most students are likely to go on to higher education.
Admissions 2023
Andhra Loyola College has issued notice for the admissions to their various programs offered at UG and PG levels. The basic eligibility for UG courses is to have passed 10+2. The basic eligibility for PG courses is to have a bachelor’s degree. Candidates can apply online or download the application forms from the university’s website and mail the filled application form along with a demand draft of the application fee to the university’s office.
The admission to UG courses are based on the candidate’s merit in the qualifying degree and admission to PG courses are based on entrance exams like APICET and KRU CET.

According to media reports, eight students (of BSc and BCom courses) have been offered a salary package of INR 8 LPA during Andhra Loyola College placements 2022. The package was offered by a leading EdTech company.
