About
Academy of Aviation and Engineering, a purely technical institution approved by the Director General of Civil Aviation, Department of Civil Aviation, Govt. To complete the Indian aircraft maintenance course as per CAR-66 and CAR-147 requirements. This civil aviation requirement is issued under Government of India Aviation Rules 61 and 133B, 1937. under Indian Air Force. DGCA is the regulatory body that deals with all matters related to civil aviation in the country. AAE trains the students only as per the training manual approved by the DGCA Board. In India, students must pass an exam conducted by the DGCA to obtain an AME license. Also, this course differs from aeronautical engineering and deals with aircraft maintenance rather than design and research.
