The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations abbreviated as ‘CISCE’ for short is a secondary examination board that conducts the ICSE standardized 10+2 examinations for schools that are affiliated with the board. It features a comprehensive syllabus and is largely English-based or English Medium with the exception of foreign or Indian Languages. ICSE is often regarded as one of the best educational boards in the world with regard to its syllabus, curriculum and teaching methods. The board conducts examinations usually in the month of February-March.
Subjects
Students in the ICSE board must study a minimum of 6-8 subjects. These subjects are divided into multiple different groups:
Divisions/Stages:
1)ICSE:
The first stage is designed to examine candidates in accordance with the New Education Policy(NEP) of 1986. This examination is taken by students in their 10th grade
2)ICS:
The ISC examination is designed to examine students in the 12th grade in accordance with the NEP, 2 years beyond the 10th grade ISCE examinations.
The council conducts the Frank Anthony Inter School Debate competition and Albert Marrow all India Creative Writing competitions
ICSE Question Papers Class 10 helps students appearing for the ICSE final board exam to understand the exam pattern and difficulty level of the questions.
