About the Exam

The PUCET 2023 Exam will be given in an offline format. The Panjab University, Chandigarh, administers the Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PUCET), a university-level entrance examination. The university administers its own entrance exam for both undergraduate and graduate programmes. The fields of engineering, pharmacy, business, etc., all provide admission. We have included all the information regarding PUCET 2023 in this article, including the exam date, application deadline, required qualifications, etc.

PUCET 2023 Application Form

  • The PUCET 2023 application form will be made available online.
  • For UG courses, the application form will be made available from the third week of May to the fourth week of June 2023.
  • For PG programmes, candidates may submit their applications from the first week of June to the first week of July 2023.
  • Candidates must carefully fill out every field on the application form, including Name, Father's and Mother's Names.
  • All of the information on the application form must be accurate; otherwise, it will be rejected.
  • Upload the scanned copies of the applicant's photo and signature after filling out the application.
  • Candidates must print off their application in order to keep it for future use.
Application Fees:
  • Both online and offline methods will be used to submit the application fee.
  • Candidates can use a credit card, debit card, net banking, or a challan to pay the price.
  • Fees are not refundable under any situation.

How to Apply for PUCET ?

  • Step 1: Go to the PUCET 2023 website 
  • Step 2: Candidates must register online to submit an application.
  • Step 3:to pay the application cost both online and offline.
  • Step 4: Applicants must complete the application form by providing their name, contact information, and information about their schooling.
  • Step 5: Upload scanned documents, including a signature and a photo.
  • Step 6: Take a printout of the application form and fee receipt for your records.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent exam from a recognised board.
  • Marks: To be qualified, a candidate must receive 50% on the qualifying exam.
  • Subject: English, Physics, Chemistry, and one of Biology/Biotechnology/Mathematics must be passed by candidates.

Exam Pattern of PUCET 2023

  • Exam format: An offline mode will be used to administer the test.
  • For undergraduate students, the exam will last 70 minutes, while for graduate students, it will last 90 minutes.
  • The question paper will be worth a total of 120 points.
  • Multiple Choice Questions will be included on the test.
  • Paper will be in the English language as the medium.
  • Marking criteria: Each accurate response will earn you two points, and each incorrect one will cost you a quarter of a point.
  • For PG courses, only one mark will be given, and there won't be any deducted points.

PUCET 2023 Syllabus

The PUCET 2023 syllabus will cover material from classes 11 and 12. For the PUCET 2023 exam, candidates must study mathematics, physics, biology, and chemistry. For each course, there will be a separate course. The official syllabus will be made available online.
