About the Exam

NEST 2023 application form will be released in the third week of February 2023. National Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai, Department of Atomic Centre. Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS). The exam is conducted for candidates who want to enroll in a 5-year integrated MSc program. The application form is available online. Finally, the selected candidates will be admitted to both participating institutions. In this article, we have provided complete information about NEST Application Form 2023.

NEST 2023 Application Form

  • The application form for NEST 2023 will be released in third week of February 2023.
  • Application form will be made available through online mode. Any offline method will not be provided to fill the form.
  • Fill the application form with details like personal, educational qualification details etc.
  • Upload the scanned images of candidate’s photograph, signature to complete the form.
  • Details in application form must be correct as no correction facility will be provided later.
  • The last date to submit the application form will be till third week of May 2023.
  • Candidates need to take the printout of the application form for future reference.

List of required documents for NEST 2023 Application Form:

  • Valid email ID and mobile number
  • Digital copy of passport size photograph (size limit max: 80 kb)
  • Scanned signature (size limit max: 80 kb)
  • 10thand 12th class mark sheets
  • Category certificate (for reserved category candidates)

The NEST eligibility Criteria 2023 is provided below:

  • Qualification: Candidate must pass 12th/ Intermediate or its equivalent exam from any recognised board.
  • Age Limit: Candidate must have born on or after 1st August 2003. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates by 5 years.
  • Marks: In qualifying exam, candidates must have obtained at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates) to be eligible for admission.
  • Appearing: Class 12th appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for the exam.

How to Apply for NEST 2023

Following are the complete step by step process for filling NEST online Application Form:

  • Visit the website of NEST 2023.
  • Now click on the new candidates registration link and register yourself by filling online registration form
  • Fill the registration Form with required details like Name, Date of Birth, Roll number of High School Examination, Mobile Number and Email Id then fill the captcha code and click on “Register”.
  • Candidate will receive user id and password for Application Form through SMS and Email.
  • Now fill the application from by login into the website.
  • The Application Form will be consist of details like Personal, Academic, communicational, Exam Centre etc.
  • Now candidates will be asked to submit the required documents including passport size photograph and signature.
  • Photograph should be latest passport size photo of candidate with plane background and within given size and format.
  • Signature should be running hand scanned signature and should be within given size and format.
  • Now select the payment gateways and complete the transaction.
  • After the completion of transaction of application fee, take the printout of Fee Receipt and Filled Application Form for future uses.
