About KCET
The Karnataka Examination Authority conducts the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) annually, facilitating admissions to B.Tech and B.Arch programs. This state-level examination is administered offline, available in both English and Kannada mediums, and has a duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes. The test is held at various examination centres. Registered candidates can obtain their KCET 2024 admit cards from the KEA UGCET website, specifically at kea.kar.nic.in. It is imperative for candidates to carry the KCET exam admit card to the examination centre. Successful candidates, based on their KCET 2024 scores, will qualify to participate in the subsequent counselling process. Admission to undergraduate courses in B.Tech/B.Arch is granted across 198 participating institutes, encompassing government-aided and private institutions, offering candidates a range of options for pursuing their higher education.

|
Passed 12th standard with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology.
English should be one of the compulsory languages.
Minimum qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates is 40%.

Passed Class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Must have appeared for JEE Main Paper 2 or NATA.

Cleared standard 12 exams with English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as major subjects.
