The CUSAT Common Admission Test (CAT) for the year 2024 is scheduled to take place in the first week of May. CUSAT is university-level examination is conducted annually by the Cochin University of Science and Technology across various centers nationwide. Aspiring students seeking admission to a range of UG/PG courses can submit their applications for the test.   • Applicants seeking admission into the University must go through below provided CUSAT 2024 Registration details:
  • Online registrations for various UG/PG courses will commence in the 3rd to 4th week of January 2024.
  • The complete application process is a multi-step procedure that should be undertaken with careful attention.
  • Students are strongly advised to thoroughly review the instructions in the prospectus before filling out the registration form.
  • The deadline for application submissions is in March 2024. However, for MBA/M.Tech, the last date for application form submission extends until April/May 2024.
  • In the event of missed registrations, students have the option to apply until March/April 2024 with a late fee, as specified in the provided table.
  • During registration, utilize only an active mobile number and email ID that will remain active throughout the admission process.
  • When uploading documents, ensure readiness with the necessary documents in accordance with the specified specifications.

CUSAT 2024 Application Fee:

Applicants are required to pay the application fee through online mode.

The remitted fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Steps to Fill CUSAT 2024 Application Form:

  • Step 1:Online Registration : Complete the registration process by providing all mandatory details. Upon successful registration, a confirmation mail and SMS will be sent to the candidates.
  • Step 2:Filling Details : Log in using the provided credentials and proceed to fill in the application form with personal and reservation details.
  • Step 3:Uploading of Images : Upload a photograph and signature according to the specified format and size.
  • Step 4:Selection of Course : Exercise caution while selecting programs and test codes during the application process.
  • Step 5:Short Preview : After submitting course details, a preview will be displayed. If any changes are needed, make them and save the updates.
  • Step 6:Payment : Pay the application fee based on your category using the available payment modes.
  • Step 7:Selection of Centre : Following fee payment, a list of available test centers will be presented. Candidates should choose a center with available seats.
  • Step 8:Final Submission : Submit the application form and print the fee receipt and application for future reference.

CUSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

    General Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates applying for various UG courses must have successfully completed their 12th grade or its equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Candidates applying for various PG courses must hold a UG degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.

    • For B.Tech Programme:
  • As a minimum qualification, candidates must have passed the Plus two exam of Kerala state or any other exam accepted as equivalent, with PCM subjects as optional subjects, securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% in PCM subjects combined.
  • Candidates belonging to ST/SC communities of Kerala are eligible to apply if they meet the minimum passing marks criteria.
  • Those belonging to the SEBC category of Kerala state or NCL category are eligible for a 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks.

    • For MBA
  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board/university.
  • Applicants from Kerala SC/ST communities are eligible to apply if they achieve the minimum passing marks in the qualifying degree.
  • Students must have valid marks in any of the management aptitude tests – KMAT/CMAT/CAT (IIM).
