B.Sc in Cancer Biology is an undergraduate program from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University. Although tremendous determination has been invested in the fight against cancer and substantial improvement has been made in therapeutic options over the past years, this disease still remains one of the major causes of death. It is thus of paramount importance to put further efforts into better understanding the biology of cancer and into developing means to improve diagnosis and therapy. Thus with the aim of promoting teaching and research in Cancer Biology, the program start in & Cancer Biology; and offers ample training in cancer research for students. Cancer Biology studies the complex interplay of genes, proteins and biological processes that drive the development and growth of cancers. Understanding the many different biological systems underlying cancer’s development is essential for understanding cancer and identifying new targets for treatment.
Any student, who is interested in this specific branch of oncology, must be having a minimum of 50% average marks in the 12th grade in the 1st group of Science which includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from schools that have proper affiliation and recognized boards.
