B. A (Hons) is a programmed three-year undergraduate degree usually offered in science or arts or both. In B. A (Hons), students specialize in a particular subject and students are taught various jobs related to the discipline. Students are also taught subjects different from the main subject or major.
A student choosing B.A (Hons) English (with English as a subject) will be taught Greek literature, modern literature and African literature related to the specialization. Students are also taught other non-major subjects (here English) such as Hindi, Environmental Studies, Political Science etc. which fulfill the goal of all-round development of the students.
